At Resonate, we create a customized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Averse to the idea of a 'one size fits all' or 'cookie cutter' method to therapy, we aim to do justice to your subjective and unique human experience.

Our offices for in-person sessions are in Sierra Meadow's in Truckee, CA. We are now working with a greater community of therapists in the Bay Area and South Lake Tahoe under the Conscious Mind Therapy Institute. Take a look at what our other practitioners can offer you and your loved ones!
Therapy Rates
We are aware of the financial stress that therapy can be and the barrier that creates for so many to receive services. Each of us at Resonate Therapy are personally familiar with this barrier. We want to enable folks access to therapeutic services with affordable rates; Sliding scales are available.
Our current session fees are as follows:

Licensed Clinicians:

50 minute individual session: $167-200
Couples 90 minute session: $220

Associate Clinicians:​

50 minute individual session: $135-145
Couples 90 minute session: $175

Group therapy: Rates, meeting time and duration will be announced with each group series. Our group therapy offerings are all unique and each group will crafted in a new way to best support its members!
Using insurance benefits for your therapy services

Please note that it is the client's responsibility to know their own insurance plan. If Resonate Therapy is in-network with your insurance, you still need to verify your coverage to determine your specific coverage- including deductibles and copays. Clients will be responsible for any remaining balance that insurance does not cover.
It is a great idea to call your insurance company in order to get a better idea of your plan. When you call, here are some questions that are helpful to have ready:

Do I have mental health or behavioral health out-of-network benefits for outpatient settings?
What is my deductible? Has it been met?
Is approval required by my primary care physician?
How many mental health sessions does my plan cover annually?
How do I obtain reimbursement for an out-of-network mental health provider?
What will the coverage amount be per session?
Are telehealth sessions covered?
Will sessions with a registered associate therapist (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) be covered?
For folks who have insurance companies not on this list (private carriers with PPO plans): we submit claim submissions for out-of-network benefits. This allows for reimbursement of 30-70% once your deductible has been met. If you have questions about this process, it can be described in greater detail during your free consultation call.
